Following his Big East Freshman of the
Year performance last season, Monroe
continues to propel the Hoyas to a strong
season.  The Louisiana product has been
an amazing force for the Hoyas this
season.  In a mid-season contest against
Villanova, Monroe led Georgetown with 29
points and 16 rebounds.  Showing off his
ability to contribute in additional ways, the
Georgetown center delivered 12 assists in
a road win over Providence.  Monroe was
selected with the 7th pick of the 2010 NBA  
Draft by the Pistons.
